Discover Lacrosse with the Burnaby Field Lacrosse

Is your child curious about lacrosse? Our Girls Try Lacrosse event is the perfect opportunity for new players to experience the sport in a welcoming and fun environment.

This one-day session is designed for girls who want to try field lacrosse for the first time. With guidance from experienced coaches and volunteers, participants will learn the basics of the game in a safe, no-contact setting.

Whether your child is new to sports or simply wants to explore something different, this event is a great way to get involved and see what field lacrosse is all about.

What to Bring

If your child has a lacrosse stick and goggles, they are welcome to bring them. If not, no equipment is necessary — we’ll provide everything they need to participate.

By proceeding with registration and participating in the Try Lacrosse event hosted by Burnaby Field Lacrosse Club, I acknowledge and accept that participation in sports activities involves inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to strains, sprains, fractures, or other physical harm.

I understand and agree that Burnaby Field Lacrosse Club, its directors, officers, volunteers, staff, sponsors, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or claims resulting from participation in this event, whether occurring before, during, or after the session.

By continuing, I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks or injuries that may occur and release Burnaby Field Lacrosse Club and all associated parties from any and all liability, claims, or legal action arising from participation in the event.

If the participant is under the age of 18, I confirm that I am the parent/legal guardian and give consent for their participation under these terms.
