Try-Out Details

• Burnaby Field Lacrosse Club will utilize independent third-party evaluators whenever possible to ensure a fair, objective, and transparent evaluation process.
• All evaluators will use the same evaluation criteria.
• Scores from all evaluators will be averaged to determine each player’s final ranking.
• Players must declare the position they wish to try out for before evaluations begin.
• Players will be evaluated at the position they register for. Position changes during evaluations may not be permitted.
• Goalies must register and participate as goalies throughout the evaluation process.
• Players are expected to attend all evaluation sessions. Missing a session may affect final rankings and team placement.
• Players must arrive on time and be prepared to participate.
• Previous team placement or prior seasons will not be considered during evaluations.
• Placement on a Tier 1 team is earned through the evaluation process and is not guaranteed.
• The purpose of evaluations is to identify players best suited for the Tier 1 pathway while ensuring appropriate placement for all athletes.
